Anna Thurston Memorial Scholarship

The Anna Thurston Memorial Scholarship is an award for a high school senior who is a resident of the Town of Andover. The applicant shall submit an essay explaining what an education means to them. The essay may be mailed to the Andover Educational Fund, Inc., PO Box 32, Andover, ME 04216 and must be received by May 1st. 

 

Born in Andover, Anna Thurston, graduated with the class of 1932 and went on to Normal School for Teaching. She returned to Andover to teach before moving to Connecticut.
